Corporate Events


We shine a spotlight on downtown Guelph Taste with private and customized events and can host a variety of groups for experiences beyond our set scheduled tours. Corporate groups love our ability to introduce Guelph's taste of place and show off our community to potential new residents, prospective clients, potential employees, team members, and visitors. Corporate events, conventions, conferences + team building are our specialty. Private tours might just be the ticket for you. Here are some examples of groups we've hosted:

  • Corporate excursions, conventions, conferences, and team building
  • Networking, social and singles groups
  • Outings for offices clients, family, and friends
  • Culinary or cooking field trips
  • Gourmet and supper clubs
  • Spousal programs for conferences

  • Realtor client appreciation parties

*All of our tours are held regardless of weather. We’re a pretty hardy bunch in Canada so dress accordingly and come out and have fun with us no matter the rain or snow.

Need a different day, time or type of Taste Detours? We can create something unique for your group. Prices: $60+ (i.e. A custom Little Bites Appetizer Tour) to $85 and up per person depending on the tour we create together. If you require a full dinner at various stops and access to à la carte wine/beer lists along with your tour, the price will be set at a minimum of $100 per person.

Conversely, if you'd like a tour that emphasized the history, architecture and culture part of the walking tour with a little less food, prices would drop somewhat.

Once a date is agreed upon for your custom tour, 2 non-refundable tickets must be purchased.

1. Private groups must have a minimum of 6 guests for the usual tour at the usual times we provide, but it will be conducted in the privacy of your own group.

2. Groups with less than 6 people may book a private tour for $85 per person on a To The Core tour and $60 for a Little Bites Appetizer Tour.

3. Please allow lead time for private bookings to avoid disappointment.

4. We will try to accommodate food allergies to the best of our ability given advanced notice. 

5. No refunds or exchanges for no-shows.


Once a date is agreed upon for your private tour, 2 non-refundable tickets must be purchased. The remainder of the tickets must be purchased well in advance of the requested date to ensure a private tour. Please call or write to Lynn to discuss details.
