EatStreet: A Brewers' Feast
June 16, 2018
7:00pm - midnight
Old Quebec Street
Tickets coming soon!
The ticketed, sit down dinner for 100 will feature animated discussions with information about the food/chefs/food sourcing and tie-in to Guelph’s culinary scene, both past and present between the courses.
EatStreet will take place in Old Quebec Street. The dinner will include 5 courses each created by a different restaurant/chef along with 5 different guided Craft Beer /cider pairing samples for each course. Each curated dinner course and pairing will be introduced along with the story of how the pairing came to be and why/how ingredients were used. A tasting menu will also be provided to participants, explaining the courses and pairings as well their significance to the Guelph story.
We’re eating /drinking modern food influenced by our agricultural heritage and will project images of said history on walls. The theme of history meeting modernity. A look at Guelph over time. Old traditions meet new innovations: in the beer, food, use of public spaces and architecture etc. Emphasis on creative pairing/collaborations, cultural pairings, thematic pairings.
Performance or enhanced experience during dinner and after street dance featuring
Eclectic Vinyl Orchestra -- https://www.eclecticvo.com/. This is a separate, $25 ticketed event BUT those with dinner tickets will, of course, have this included on their ticket.
