We feel, walk, see and taste this daily in Guelph. We have deep agricultural roots in this town/region ~ roots from soil that holds our old stories and a strong instinct to grow. One thing we're constantly struck by while walking people about Guelph on our Taste Detours, is that we're walking the very streets where farmers trade(d) their produce, their wares and their cattle; where ambitious immigrants set up new shops and restaurants; where visionaries designed streets, a town, a life for the growing populace.
In many instances, this picture remains exactly the same today.
